Deadlock Win Rates (October 2026): Every Hero by Rank, Pick Rate and Patch

Paige has the highest win rate in Deadlock right now: 55.9% in Ranked and 57.1% across all modes in the week after the October 5 patch. Kelvin, Rat King, Graves and Ivy follow at 54-55% in Ranked, while Solomon, Mirage and Warden sit at the bottom. This page lists the win and pick rates of all 41 heroes, then breaks them down by rank, by how many games players have on a hero and by match length, and shows what the patch changed.

Ranked and all modes mostly agree, but some heroes do clearly better in one of them. Vyper, Apollo, Silver and Yamato win 1.8-2.8 points more in Ranked than across all modes, while Graves, Seven and Baba win 1.7-1.9 points more outside it.

Pick rate shows how often a hero turns up. Rat King is in 91% of ranked matches, Baba in 64% and Haze in 63%. Warden is the rarest at 8%. Popularity and results are separate things: Paige wins the most but appears in 40% of ranked games. Solomon arrived on October 9, so his pick rate counts only part of the week.

Kelvin is the clearest sleeper: he wins 54.9% of ranked games but shows up in only 18% of them. Ivy and Dynamo win more than 53.5% while appearing in about a quarter of matches. Infernus and Bebop are the reverse, picked in 42-45% of ranked games while winning 47.7% and 46.6%.

Most heroes stay within two points between the lowest and the highest bracket, but some change a lot. Viscous, Vyper, Holliday and Celeste gain 3.3-3.8 points on the way up, and The Doorman 2.4. Lady Geist loses 4.3 points, Graves 4.0 and Calico 2.8. Paige is the best hero up to Oracle, and Kelvin leads from Phantom to Eternus at 55.6%. The top bracket has the smallest samples, with about 900 games for Warden, so a gap of two or three points in that column can be noise. Our tier list turns these numbers into grades.

Seven54.5%54.4%
Vyper44.5%54.1%
Wraith48.9%53.4%
Lash48.8%53.3%

The gap between new and experienced players shows which heroes take practice. Players in their first ten games of Vyper win 44.5%, and players with 100 or more win 54.1%, a gap of 9.6 points. Silver, Celeste, Apollo and Mina all show gaps above six points. Paige, Haze, Seven and Graves sit at the other end: new players win as often on them as veterans do, so their high win rates do not come from a small group of dedicated mains. Games are counted over each player's whole history on the hero, and players who reach 100 games are partly the ones who did well early, so treat each gap as an upper limit on what practice adds. Rat King, Baba and Solomon are too new to have many 100-game players, so their veteran column is empty.

Bebop52.8%48.2%
Dynamo52.6%52.1%
Baba52.1%50.2%
Venator51.7%47.0%

An average match lasts about 36 minutes, a little less in Ranked, and some heroes win very differently depending on the clock. Rat King wins 62.3% of games that end before 25 minutes but 51.5% of those that go past 40, and Graves drops from 60.9% to 52.9%. Sinclair is the opposite, at 37.7% in short games and 48.4% in long ones, and Victor, Viscous, Billy and Vyper also gain 6.4-10.4 points when games run long. On an early-game hero, a lead is worth turning into objectives quickly. On a late-game hero, a rough start matters less than it looks.

What the October 5 patch changed

Rat King61.4%55.9%
Sinclair48.4%45.0%

Holliday47.7%48.6%
Wraith50.6%51.6%
The Doorman45.2%46.3%
Rem46.2%47.6%

The patch nerfed only Rat King and Sinclair, and they are the two heroes that moved. Rat King fell from 61.4% to 55.9% across all modes and from 61.4% to 54.5% in Ranked, and he is still third in Ranked. Sinclair fell from 48.4% to 45.0%, and from 50.3% to 45.3% in Ranked, which puts him among the weakest heroes. Nobody else changed by more than 1.4 points: Rem, The Doorman, Wraith and Holliday gained about one point each, and Victor and Lady Geist lost about one. Baba was released on October 6, so she has no earlier week to compare, and her first days are in our Baba guide. Every change in the update is in our patch notes breakdown.

How to read win rates

Each hero appears at most once per match, so every match produces six winners and six losers, and the average win rate across the roster is exactly 50%. A hero at 52% wins about one extra game in fifty compared with an average pick, and only ten of the 41 heroes are above that in Ranked.

Sample size decides how far to trust a number. With 10,000 games a win rate is accurate to about one point either way, and with 1,000 games to about three, so differences under a point between two heroes rarely mean anything. New heroes start low and climb as players learn them. Solomon is last in Ranked at 41.5%, and our Solomon guide follows his daily rise.

The side you play on barely matters. Matchmaking assigns it, and across about 102,000 ranked matches one side won 50.7% and the other 49.3%. In other modes the split was 50.2% to 49.8%.

How we collected the data

The data comes from public match records and covers normal matches from October 6 to 12, 2026: about 101,000 Ranked and 355,000 unranked matches, with Street Brawl left out. All modes means Ranked and unranked together, and the comparison week starts on September 29, the day City Never Sleeps launched. We will refresh this page after each balance patch.
