This Privacy Policy explains how Deadlock Boosting collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit deadlock-boosting.com, contact us or order a service, and what rights you have over that data.
Who we are
Deadlock Boosting ("we", "us", "our") operates deadlock-boosting.com and is the controller of the personal data described in this Policy. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to support@deadlock-boosting.com.
Scope
This Policy applies to visitors of the Website, customers and anyone who contacts our support. Terms such as "Order", "Service" and "Booster" have the meaning given in our Terms of Service.
Personal data we collect
- Contact data: your name, email address and any other contact details you choose to give us.
- Order data: the Service ordered, game identifiers, rank or progress information, selected options, instructions and delivery records.
- Account access data: Game Account login details, only where you provide them because a Service requires access.
- Payment data: the amount, currency, transaction identifier, payment status and limited fraud-screening information received from payment providers. We do not receive full payment card details.
- Communications: messages, emails, complaints and cancellation or refund requests.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and security events.
- Verification data: limited information requested where reasonably necessary to investigate suspected fraud, an unauthorized payment or an ownership concern.
We collect this data directly from you, automatically when you use the Website and, where relevant, from payment and security providers.
How and why we use personal data
- To process Orders, perform Services, communicate with you and handle cancellations and refunds, because this is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To process payments and keep accounting and tax records, to perform our contract and comply with legal obligations.
- To answer questions you send before placing an Order, based on our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
- To prevent fraud, secure the Website, handle chargebacks and establish or defend legal claims, based on our legitimate interest in protecting our customers and our business.
- To send marketing messages, only with your consent.
We do not use personal data for unrelated purposes and do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means. If you do not provide data required for an Order, we may be unable to perform it.
Who receives personal data
We share personal data only where reasonably necessary, with:
- the Booster assigned to your Order;
- payment processors, banks and fraud-prevention providers;
- hosting, security, email and other technical service providers;
- professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers;
- courts, regulators and law enforcement authorities where required by law;
- a buyer or successor of our business, in the event of a sale or reorganization.
A Booster receives only the information needed for the assigned Order. Game Account login details are disclosed only to the assigned Booster and the support staff handling the Order. We do not sell personal data and do not share it for targeted advertising.
International transfers
Some recipients may process personal data outside the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on an adequacy decision, the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or another lawful transfer safeguard.
Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected for:
- Game Account login details are deleted once the Order is completed or cancelled;
- verification data is deleted when the verification or investigation is closed, unless needed for a legal claim;
- Order, support and payment dispute records are kept for the period in which claims and disputes can arise;
- accounting and tax records are kept for the period required by law;
- marketing data is kept until you withdraw consent or opt out.
When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against unauthorized access, loss, alteration or disclosure, and limit access to the people who need it. No online system is completely secure. If a personal data breach is likely to put your rights at risk, we will notify you and the competent authority as required by law.
Share Game Account details only where a Service requires them and only through the channel we specify. After the Order is completed, we recommend changing your password.
Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, including the GDPR, the UK GDPR and US state privacy laws, you may request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, object to direct marketing at any time and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise a right, email support@deadlock-boosting.com. We may ask for information needed to verify your identity and reply within one month, or within the period the law requires. Exercising your rights is free and does not affect the Services you receive. You may also lodge a complaint with the data protection authority where you live.
Persons under 18
The Services are not intended for persons under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If we learn that such data has been provided, we delete it, subject to any legal retention requirement.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Policy when our processing or legal obligations change. The current version and its date are always published on this page. Material changes may also be communicated through the Website or by email.
